Who is Tlāloc?

Tlāloc (pronounced Tlah-lock) is the great Aztec god of rain, water, lightning, and agriculture. Farmers prayed to him for the storms that watered their crops. Travelers asked for safe passage under clear skies. He was a force of nature — unpredictable, powerful, and essential.

We named this site after him because weather is still the same today. It shapes what we wear, how we commute, and what we can do. We just ask different questions now: Do I need a jacket? Can I bike to work? Is the ice good for skating?

Tlāloc answers them in plain language — no isobars, no millibars, just a straight answer for Canadians.
